We are Michael and Jana, a husband-and-wife team and the proud founders of Leaps & Hounds. Together, we share a deep love and lifelong dedication to dogs, and we’ve built our business around providing the same care and joy we give our own.

Our journey is inspired daily by our two beloved rescue dogs, Dodger — a spirited kelpie mix — and Mika, our affectionate Great Dane cross. They’ve taught us patience, empathy, and the art of truly understanding each dog’s unique personality.

While we’ve both worn many hats throughout our careers, nothing brings us greater happiness than the work we do now — walking, caring for, and connecting with the incredible dogs of our local community. We can’t wait to meet your furry family member and welcome them to the Leaps & Hounds pack.
